Graphic Design As A Visual Equivalent Of A Puzzle

Your job is to assemble a complete picture of a number of individual parts. No piece of the puzzle must be isolated from others. All parts must fit together harmoniously.

The "big picture" take into account the environment in which your ad or publication will be distributed.

For example, in designing a newspaper ad, consider how it will look when surrounded by members of the press and other advertisements.

When designing a newsletter or direct mail piece, imagine what it would look when it arrives at the recipient's mailbox. Design a magazine cover, think about how others seem to surround the newsstand magazines. When you create the product documentation, display as it seems to appear in the brochure rack.

Inside in a publication, is the most important part of the overall image of the two councils. In designing multipage publications, such as newsletters, brochures or books, works on both consultations rather than individual pages.

If you make a mistake to concentrate on each page as if it were an independent entity, you may end up creating two pages that look good individually, but do not work in parallel.

The left side is visually attractive and independent.

This is the right side is well on its own.

Design of two pages instead of individual pages.

When you look side by side, but the "fight" between them and present a disorganized, difficult to read the image.

Remember that readers rarely meet each page, but look at the left and right sides together.

Readers rarely meet a single page, but look at the opposite sides together.
