Social Graphics: The Art of Jeskisalutes the award-winning efforts of artist and social activist Jeseok Yi, whohas wowed the design and non-profit communities with his thoughtful and oftensatirical works. Featuring fourteen of Korean-born Jeski’s works fororganizations like the Red Cross, Salvation Army, World Vision, City HarvestNew York, the American Disability Association and the Global Coalition forPeace, the exhibition provides sharp and insightful commentary on war, globalwarming, pollution, and other social concerns.
Jeskistresses simplicity in messaging and encourages interaction between the designand the real world. His social graphics illustrate the power of creativity toinform, educate, and change society for the better. His efforts are a reminderof the vibrancy of Korean civil society, the strength of its NGOs, and Korea’scontribution to international efforts aimed at peace and social justice.
About the Artist
Jeski was born andeducated in Korea and gained fame in winning several major internationaladvertisement awards, including Cannes International, Clio and New YorkFestivals awards. He earned his BFA from School of Visual Arts in New York. Heis the founder of the Jeski Social Campaign and is a Seoul MetropolitanGovernment Honorary Ambassador.
