Subway Cinema and the Film Society of Lincoln Center have issued the first announcements about New York Asian Film Festival 2011. The festival is scheduled to run July 1 – 14 at Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Walter Reade Theater (July 1 – 14) and at Japan Society (July 7 – 10).
One of the highlights surely will be the presence of Hong Kong’s renowned director and producer , Tsui Hark, to headline the festival's special focus, Wu Xia: Hong Kong’s Flying Swordsmen.
The full line-up and Star Asia Awards recipients will be announced May 26.
