This time there's another "Kira" who possesses a Death Note of her own.Just a quick reminder that Death Note II: The Last Name is due out on DVD today, Tuesday, February 10th, 2009, from VIZ Pictures. I just received my screener last night, but had plans to take my wife out for her birthday. So I hope to get a look at the release within the next day or so and get a review up quickly.
I have seen the film previously and can tell you it's a worthy sequel to the top-notch original live-action Death Note. I'll be very interested in checking out the image and sound quality of the DVD and looking at the extras. From the package, these appear to include both English and Japanese language soundtracks, a 23 minute making of featurette, and some other offerings.
